CLASSES
Fusion is an amazing dance, but it is uniquely difficult to learn since mixing things typically requires in-depth and pre-existing knowledge of the things. At the Academy we have developed a unique curriculum to guide dancers from beginners with zero knowledge to truly advanced dancers in this wonderfully flexible dance of Fusion.
Level Overview
We have 4 levels of classes, each containing 1 or more month-long series. The series’ of a level can be taken in any order, though all are required to move up to the next level.
It is possible to join at a higher level or change levels early if you are already an experienced dancer or are taking private lessons (contact us to set up your assessment!). Students are invited to attend any class below their registered level for free, space permitting.

Other Offerings
Outside of our leveled classes we offer Solo classes (which anyone can take, regardless of level) and a Practica (which is included in any class, including Solo)
Solo: Partner dancing is half about connecting with your partner and half about moving your own body. Spend some serious time focusing on your quality of movement, solo-body control, and forging new pathways. With a rotating topic/theme lead by the instructor, these classes offer unique ways to drill your dance.
Prerequisites: None! Come one come all. No matter what level of Academy student you are (or even if you’re not one, yet)
Many (many) series’ , drop-ins welcome.
Practica: Once you fill yourself with knowledge, practice it with your peers in this open practica. Ask the on-call instructors for feedback on your dancing or help figuring out specific moves.
Included with any other class. Any student currently or formerly enrolled at the Academy can come to the practica for free. Come dance and practice with us even on months you’re not taking classes!
Class registration includes a (55-min) group lesson with individualized feedback and a Practica supervised by Academy instructors. We want our classes to be available for everyone and want to be transparent about our pricing and the different ways you can pay for classes.
